<description>Yo Alison! Tis Marge here! Am a newborn to this whole blogging thing and I&#039;ve set one up to try and start a writing habit (you know how long that will last!) Still trying to get my head around it all... Put up some of my recent creative writing and using it as a sort of reflectionpad, if you see what I mean! Anyway, hope you are well and happy,

<description>I am the classic serial self reinventor: secondary school teacher of English, playwright, retreat house leader, mother and owner of my consultancy, WORDS in ACTION. I have lived and worked all round Scotland. My most recent change is to move from the city of Glasgow, my home town, to the island of Bute in the Clyde estuary from where I work as writer, presenter and coach.

My adult daughter and son also live in Scotland and are my greatest supporters.

I have written for theatre, cabaret and stand-up comedy; for poetry magazines and newspapers.
